Dear conscious, spiritual, or visionary leader:
You know that you came to this earth with a purpose.
Learning to express and live that purpose is a work in progress – one that feels like a fire in your soul. Some days it might feel far away, but when you close your eyes and listen, you know to your core that this thing you feel is so much bigger than you.
And from this, your business was born.
You felt the call to build that business online.
And in the online space, you saw big possibilities all around you. You saw extraordinary, unimaginable abundance.
This big, expansive feeling inside of you started to feel real, and you felt the possibilities for yourself.
But then you started to see things like:
You are worthy of investing in.
Building your soul-aligned business requires investing.
You can’t google your way to making money.
You need high level mentorship.
So you made the investment.
You listened. You trusted. You acted.
But at some point, things started to feel… well…
OFF.
This lack of integrity would make more sense if it were coming from the icky broey marketing people whom you purposely avoided. But we’re talking about coaches who say they’re heart-centred or here to help create soul businesses.
And there is a sense of hurt, a sense of grief, and/or a sense of trauma around this relisation.
There IS a lack of integrity – it’s all over the coaching industry. Most of it is no one’s fault, stemming from a place of unhealed or unconscious trauma with the cycle repeating over and over again.
That soul purpose you have? It’s worth pursuing in spite of that.
Your work is of high service and worthy of massive compensation (I’m borrowing that from Amanda Frances). You don’t need to invest in anything for that to be your fundamental truth.
I also want you to know that selling is of high service and marketing yourself is of high service. You are worthy of doing both, and of doing them well.
Despite what you have experienced in the past from the coaching industry, I want you to know that there are some of us who value integrity above all – energetic integrity, ethical integrity, and the integrity required to truly serve and lead, not just make boatloads of money and call ourselves leaders.
Your belief in following that call (especially in the face of all the ick that’s out there) is what drives me.
Perhaps our paths will never cross again. Perhaps I will never have the honour of helping you develop your purpose… perhaps I will. Regardless, I’m thankful to be sharing this space for this brief moment in time and thankful you read to the end.
I see you. I hear you. I feel you.
